Los Campesinos! are re-releasing their festive collection 'A Los Campesinos! Christmas' on cassette.
It will be the first time the release will be available in a physical format since it immediately sold out on its initial release in 2014. Limited to 666 copies, it can be ordered via their Bandcamp here.
All profits will be donated to The Wallich, a Welsh homeless and rough sleeping charity, and Refuge, helping women and children against domestic violence.
Gareth from the band explains: “On our cover of the traditional carol the Holly & The Ivy, Rob added his own verse, with lyrics about him and his sister driving home for Christmas in a rental van. An LC! Xmas is perfect for a sepia-tinged moment like that, and so I think maybe cassette is the optimum format for it. I’d like to think this tape will be packed away with the Christmas trimmings each year, and get unboxed for a ceremonial listen annually”.
Los Campesinos! are set to play three sold-out shows in Cardiff, London and Leeds this month, supported by Fortitude Valley. The dates read:

The band also recently announced the re-release of album 'Hello Sadness' on vinyl. Out of print for many years, the record has been remastered and is released with updated artwork on vinyl on 18th February 2022. It's also available on streaming platforms now.
