Lovejoy have returned with an explosive new track, ‘Call Me What You Like’

The band will embark on a headline UK tour next month.

Lovejoy are back and blazing on their new single, ‘Call Me What You Like’.

After some cryptic photos of clouds caused quite the stir over on Instagram, it became evident that something was brewing in the Lovejoy world. After a mammoth year in 2022, the band, led by Will Gold, have returned with ‘Call Me What You Like’, a taunting slice of classic Lovejoy. With a bass line that thrums viciously, the band refuse to hold anything back.

Declaring on Twitter that the track marks “a new era of Lovejoy”, it’s a more ambitious version of the band, and rightly so — 2022 saw them amass another legion of fans in the wake of their 2021 EP ‘Pebble Brain’.

The band have also dropped a music video for the track, directed by bassist Ash Kabosu. You can watch the sky-high affair in full below.

Lovejoy are set to head out on a sold out UK tour next month, and have just announced a string of dates over in the US. The full list of UK dates are as follows.
