Muse have released new single 'Nightshift Superstar', the latest preview of their forthcoming tenth album, 'The Wow! Signal'.

Out now alongside an accompanying music video, the track follows previous singles 'Be With You', 'Cryogen', 'Hexagons' and 'Unravelling'. The song combines rock, disco and French house influences, with Matt Bellamy singing: "Kiss that kills the pain, I crave again / Now I can't stay clean, you're my darkest dream / I need you one more time / Dancing free, you are, a nightshift superstar."

'The Wow! Signal' arrives on 26th June and takes its name from the unexplained 72-second radio burst detected from the direction of Sagittarius in 1977. According to the band, the album explores themes including extraterrestrial communication, technological anxiety, existential wonder and humanity's search for meaning in an increasingly disconnected world.

Wolf Alice nearly fought off their own pop song before it became iconic
