Phoebe Green is back, back, and-indeed-back with a brand new track, and a special treat for you, our Dear Readers.
‘IDK’ is the first music from the buzzy 22 year-old since the release of her debut EP ‘I Can’t Cry For You’ last December, and sees her driving towards dark, squealing, shoegazey-indie-pop horizons.
Phoebe explains: “‘[It] explores a complete detachment from reality, observing things from a place of total apathy and feeling as though I’m witnessing my life as a bystander with little to no connection to it. It’s a horrible state to be in, I think it happens when I get overwhelmed.”
It comes alongside a shiny new video, directed by Lille Eiger, which you can check out below.
It’s not all that’s coming up though. We’re delighted to announce that – after an enforced time off due to our old mate COVID-19 – Dork is returning to the live circuit, and we’re bringing Phoebe Green with us.
Later this year, we’re teaming up with promoters Close Up for Dork’s Night Out. Phoebe will headline at Camden Assembly on 10th November, with tickets on sale this Friday (30th April) at 9am via Dice. They’ll set you back a tenner, and you can grab them here. We’ll see you there.
