Sam Fender is back with a brand new track, and news of his second album ‘Seventeen Going Under’

The full-length will arrive on 8th October via Polydor Records.

Sam Fender has announced details of his second album, and debuted the first track to be taken from it.

Titled ‘Seventeen Going Under’, the full-length will arrive on 8th October via Polydor Records.

Described by Sam as “a coming of age story,” he explains: “It’s about growing up. It’s a celebration of life after hardship, and it’s a celebration of surviving.”

A press release goes on to describe the record as dealing with Sam’s “adolescence and the trials and tribulations of growing up”.

The first track from the record – the album’s opening title cut – has also dropped as an introduction. A typical, soaring slice of trademark Sam Fender, you can check it out below.
