Serpentwithfeet is set to release 'GRIP SEQUEL', a follow-up to 2024 album 'GRIP', on 28th February via Secretly Canadian.

The new release features six new compositions alongside alternative versions of three tracks from 'GRIP', including a strings version of 'Lucky Me', and remixes of 'Spades' featuring Ogi and Destin Conrad, and 'Damn Gloves' with Ty Dolla $ign, TH41 & Azzy.

The artist has shared new single 'WRITHING IN THE WIND', accompanied by a music video. "The sound of a lover begging. He knows he messed up but desperately wants a second chance," serpentwithfeet explains of the track.

Speaking about the new project, serpentwithfeet says, "I had more to say. I had more questions about intimacy and this was a fun way to explore."
The release follows serpentwithfeet's theatrical production Heart of Brick, which focused on Black queer nightlife and premiered in Europe before a North American run in 2023. After releasing 'GRIP' in 2024, they completed a 13-date North American tour supporting André 3000.
