Taking place on Saturday, April 22nd, the event promises to be a major highlight for vinyl enthusiasts.
The full list of releases for this year’s highly anticipated Record Store Day has finally been unveiled. Taking place on Saturday, April 22nd, the event promises to be a major highlight for vinyl enthusiasts, with a range of exclusive releases from some of the biggest names in music.
Leading the list of must-have releases is Taylor Swift’s 'folklore: the long pond studio sessions', which features never-before-heard versions of tracks from her critically acclaimed album 'folklore'. Also featured is vinyl release for tracks from The 1975's legendary Blackpool Tower Ballroom show, where they performed songs from second album 'i like it when you sleep...' with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. Other notable releases include a new EP from Beach House called 'Become', a vinyl repress of Self Esteem's debut album 'Compliments Please', a 7" pressing of Baby Queen's 'Colours of You', Bastille's MTV Unplugged session, a repress of The Big Moon's debut album 'Love in the 4th Dimension, a vinyl cut of Blur's 'The Special Collectors Edition' - a Japan only compilation of b-sides and rarities from the group's first three albums previously only available on CD in the 90s, Easy Life's 'Live From Abbey Road Studios', Foals 'Life Is Dub' version of their most recent album 'Life Is Yours', an LP version of piri & tommy's 'froge.mp3' and loads more.
