This Is Lorelei has shared 'Oh No Now My', the latest single from Nate Amos' forthcoming album, 'The Singer in My Band', due for release on 11th September via Matador Records.
The new track arrives alongside a stop-motion video by Julia Fernandez. “'Oh No Now My' is a song that ate itself, there were three versions of it before it landed here, where it has nothing in common with the original,” Amos says. “I think it's good but it's hard to sing. I hope you like it.”
'Oh No Now My' follows recent single 'Billy Came Back' and offers another glimpse of 'The Singer in My Band', a record Amos wrote while touring with both This Is Lorelei and Water From Your Eyes. Describing it as his first true "road record", the songwriter says many of the songs developed while "daydreaming in the car without access to any instruments".
This Is Lorelei will bring the new album to the UK in November, with headline dates including Bristol's Electric Bristol, Nottingham's Bodega, Brighton's Chalk and London's Electric Brixton. Several shows, including Leeds, Glasgow and Manchester, have already sold out.
