Vampire Weekend will be back with us next week.
The news is confirmed in an Instagram update from frontman Ezra Koenig, who confirms: "we’re gonna start releasing music next week."
He goes on to say new tracks will come in batches of two, once a month until the album is released, then gives the initials of three drops - which suggests we might perhaps get the album at some time between late March and April.
He also reveals the initials of the record are 'FOTB', and it contains 18 tracks. It's also around 59 minutes long.

"I know that 5-6 years is considered a long time between records. Personally, I think it’s a dignified pace befitting a band that’s already placed three albums in stores but everyone has their own sense of time. (I swear the time between 3 & 4 felt shorter to me than 2 & 3. I may be in the minority on this one.)
