Do you wanna support Rat Boy on tour? Cos, now you can!

The Essex noise-maker is supporting local bands on his September run of shows.

Artists: Rat Boy
Ahhh, ain’t Rat Boy just the sweetest. Aside from tearing apart venues and making pure riotous bursts that gets fans flocking to his shows, he’s also one for supporting local bands and new music – by offering such bands the chance to support him on his upcoming UK tour dates.

Jordan Cardy (I know, I was shocked when I heard Rat Boy wasn’t his real name) is offering a local band at each stop of his tour the chance to play before him, with bands able to enter via the power of Facebook. And even if you don’t win, you’ll still get your music played through the speakers ahead of the gig.

Speaking about the move, Cardy said:

“We support local music and we feel very lucky to be in this position. If you want to support a show in your town post a link to your band below and we will listen through and message one of you”

“Sorry we can’t get you all on! If we don’t pick you we will still play your band on the PA pre-show as people walk in.”

Not a bad deal at all. Rat Boy’s biggest run of UK dates so far will run through September, with the full list of dates below.
