Ways of Seeing have dropped their new album ‘The Inheritance of Fear’

James O’Donnell dedicated an instrumental track to late friend Eoin French.

Cork-based shoegaze band Ways of Seeing have released their second album, ‘The Inheritance of Fear’, through Joyful Hour Records.

The new collection explores themes of trauma, loss and anxiety, and is led by the single ‘Last Wave’, which delves into the inherited fears and legacies that shape identity.

“‘Last Wave’ is about the things we inherit but never asked for – the fear, the darkness, the faults and the complicated legacies of the past,” the band explain.

Their dates read:

OCTOBER
11 MusicZone Instore, Cork City
NOVEMBER
14 Kino, Cork City
29 Luca Records Instore, Waterford
DECEMBER
6 Volume Records, Dublin
