Wisp explores a fantasy world with her new single 'Sword' ahead of the System of a Down tour
Shoegaze artist Wisp drops medieval-themed single 'Sword' before joining System of a Down's upcoming stadium tour with Korn and Deftones.
Wisp has released new single 'Sword', marking the start of a new era for the shoegaze artist.
The track arrives alongside a cinematic video directed by Rudy Grazziani and Valeriya Dyatko, which sees Wisp transported to a medieval fantasy setting, moving through castle halls in a white gown before donning knight's armour.
"'Sword' represents the shame and confusion people feel when loved ones hide them from the world. It's about not having a chance to shine because your partner keeps you in the dark," Wisp explains.
The release comes as Wisp prepares for a series of major festival appearances and a stadium tour supporting System of a Down. The tour will also feature Korn, Deftones, and Avenged Sevenfold.
