WOOZE are back with their new Power Puff Girls-inspired single, 'Sabre Tooth Spider'

WOOZE have announced their return with a new single titled 'Sabre Tooth Spider'.

The British/Korean duo, formed in 2017 by Jamie She and Theo Spark, drew musical inspiration from the Power Puff Girls theme song for their latest track. 'Sabre Tooth Spider' combines heavy, distorted, 80s-inspired riffs with glam-inflected vocals and anthemic hooks.

The track was written in one afternoon at producer Eliot James' studio in West London. Band member Theo shared insights into the song's creation, saying, "I was just messing around in standard tuning and it came together in an afternoon."

The band elaborate on their approach: "We thought it would be interesting to marry cock rock, slightly toxic masculine energy with hopeful and ever so deluded words written from the point of someone who clearly isn't that macho at all, in fact mucho rejected and defeated."
