070 Shake, born Danielle Balbuena, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known for her guest appearance on Raye's 2022 single 'Escapism,' which reached number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100, topped the UK Singles Chart, and won Song of the Year at the 2024 Brit Awards. In 2016, she signed with Kanye West's record label GOOD Music, an imprint of Def Jam Recordings. Her debut EP, Glitter, was released in 2018, and she gained further recognition through her collaborations on West's songs 'Ghost Town' and 'Violent Crimes,' both of which charted within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and appeared on West's album Ye. That same year, she also contributed to Pusha T's album Daytona and Nas' album Nasir. Her debut studio album, Modus Vivendi, was released in 2020, followed by You Can't Kill Me in 2022; both albums received positive reviews from critics despite not charting. Aside from her solo work, Balbuena is a member of the New Jersey-based musical collective 070, which influenced her stage name.
