Beabadoobee, born Beatrice Kristi Ilejay Laus on 3 June 2000, is a Filipina-British singer-songwriter. She released five EPs between 2018 and 2021 under the independent label Dirty Hit, including Lice, Patched Up, Loveworm, Space Cadet, and Our Extended Play. Her debut studio album, Fake It Flowers, was released in October 2020 and received critical acclaim. Her second album, Beatopia, was released on 15 July 2022 and included the track "The Perfect Pair." Her third album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves, was released on 9 August 2024 and became her first to peak at number one on the UK Albums Chart. She has served as a supporting act for the 1975 during their Music for Cars Tour, as well as for Clairo’s Immunity Tour, Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour, and Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. She was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the 2020 Brit Awards and received the Radar Award at the 2020 NME Awards. She was also predicted as a breakthrough act for 2020 in the BBC’s annual Sound of 2020 poll.
