About Biffy Clyro
Biffy Clyro are a Scottish rock band formed in Kilmarnock in 1995. The band consists of Simon Neil (lead vocals, guitar), and twin brothers James (bass, backing vocals) and Ben Johnston (drums, backing vocals). During live performances, they are joined by touring musicians Mike Vennart (guitar, backing vocals) and Richard "Gambler" Ingram (keyboards, guitar). They are signed to 14th Floor Records and have released ten studio albums. Their fourth album, Puzzle (2007), reached number two on the UK Albums Chart and received a Platinum certification from the British Phonographic Industry. Their fifth album, Only Revolutions (2009), peaked at number three in the UK and was certified double platinum in August 2011. It was also nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. The album featured singles such as "Mountains," "That Golden Rule," and "Many of Horror," all of which reached the UK Top Ten.
Biffy Clyro have unveiled plans for their most significant headline show to date, set to take place at London's Finsbury Park on Friday 3rd July 2026.
