Blonde Redhead is an American alternative rock band formed in New York City in 1993. The band consists of Kazu Makino on vocals, keyboards, and rhythm guitar, and the identical twin brothers Simone Pace on drums and keyboards, and Amedeo Pace on lead guitar, bass, keyboards, and vocals. Their early albums featured noise rock influences, but their sound evolved in the 2000s with releases such as Misery is a Butterfly (2004) and 23 (2007), which incorporated elements of dream pop and shoegaze. The band has released ten studio albums and has toured internationally.
