About Bob Vylan
Bob Vylan is an English punk rap duo based in London. The group consists of vocalist Bobby Vylan on guitar and Bobbie Vylan on drums, both stage names used to maintain privacy. Their music combines elements of punk rock, hip hop, grime, and hardcore, and features criticisms of the British establishment, inequality, racism, sexism, and homophobia. They have released four albums: their self-released debut EP Dread in 2019, We Live Here in 2020, Bob Vylan Presents the Price of Life in 2022, and Humble as the Sun in 2024. The duo has received positive reviews from publications such as NME and The Guardian. They are known for their outspoken political stance, including opposition to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and Israel's actions in the Gaza war. Their performance at Glastonbury Festival 2025 included leading the crowd in a chant that was condemned by various sources and led to the cancellation of some shows. Their visas for an upcoming tour in the United States were revoked.
Bob Vylan will perform live on Later…with Jools Holland this Saturday 25th May.
