About Bree Runway
Bree Runway, born Brenda Wireko Mensah on 18 November 1992, is a British singer and rapper. She signed with EMI Records in 2018. Her debut EP, Be Runway, was released in 2019, and her first mixtape, 2000and4Eva, followed in 2020. The mixtape included the single 'ATM' featuring Missy Elliott. She received the award for Best New International Act at the 2021 BET Awards and was nominated for the 2022 Brit Award for Rising Star.
Announcing the news on social media, she explained she thought it was "important I share with you why I've been so uncharacteristically silent recently."
