About Cate Le Bon
Cate Le Bon, born Cate Timothy on 4 March 1983, is a Welsh musician, songwriter, and record producer. She performs in both English and Welsh. Le Bon has released seven solo studio albums. She was also part of the experimental music duo Drinks, alongside her then-partner Tim Presley. Her stage name is a tribute to English musician Simon Le Bon. As a record producer, she has worked on albums by artists including Deerhunter, Wilco, John Grant, Dry Cleaning, Horsegirl, Devendra Banhart, and Kurt Vile.
Her fifth album saw Cate Le Bon escape to the Lake District, wiling away long evenings at the piano and spending her days, erm, making furniture?!
