The band was initially called Code Orange Kids and started as a hardcore punk group while its members were still in high school. They released their debut full-length album, Love Is Love/Return to Dust, in November 2012 under their original name and signed to Deathwish Inc. for their first two albums. Their second album, I Am King, was released in September 2014.
