Craig Ashley David, born on 5 May 1981, is an English singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer. He gained prominence in 1999 through his feature on the single 'Re-Rewind' by Artful Dodger. His debut studio album, 'Born to Do It,' was released in 2000 and achieved significant commercial success. David has released a total of nine studio albums, including 'Slicker Than Your Average' (2002), 'The Story Goes...' (2005), 'Trust Me' (2007), 'Signed Sealed Delivered' (2010), 'Following My Intuition' (2016), 'The Time Is Now' (2018), '22' (2022), and 'Commitment' (2025). Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as Sting, Tinchy Stryder, Big Narstie, Tiwa Savage, and JoJo.
