About Garbage
Garbage is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin. The band’s lineup includes Scottish musician Shirley Manson on vocals and American musicians Duke Erikson (guitar, bass, keyboards), Steve Marker (guitar, keyboards), and Butch Vig (drums, percussion). All four members participate in songwriting and production. Garbage has sold over 17 million albums worldwide. Their 1995 debut album, titled 'Garbage,' received critical acclaim and sold over four million copies, achieving double platinum certification in the UK, the US, and Australia. The album produced singles such as "Stupid Girl" and "Only Happy When It Rains." Their second album, 'Version 2.0' (1998), was also successful, reaching the top of the UK Albums Chart and earning two Grammy Award nominations. The band performed and co-produced the theme song for the 19th James Bond film, 'The World Is Not Enough' (1999). Their third album, 'Beautiful Garbage' (2001), was critically praised but did not match the commercial success of previous releases, despite selling over a million copies within three months.
Bosnian composer and accordionist Nihad Hrustanbegovic will perform around the historic venue on each night of the week-long run.
