About John Summit

John Walter Schuster, known by his stage name John Summit, is an American DJ and record producer born on July 29, 1994. He was previously an accountant and owns the Experts Only label. Summit has produced original tracks and remixes since at least 2017. He gained popularity in 2020 with his single 'Deep End.' In 2024, he released his debut studio album, 'Comfort in Chaos,' and has announced a second album, 'Ctrl Escape,' scheduled for release in April 2026. Summit has received nominations for the Billboard, American, and iHeartRadio Music Awards. His label, Experts Only, was named SiriusXM's Powertools Awards Label of the Year for 2025. Since 2021, he has toured extensively and performed at major festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Tomorrowland, and Electric Daisy Carnival. His stadium performances have included The O2 Arena and Madison Square Garden, alongside increased appearances in smaller venues and pop-up shows. In 2024, Variety and Rolling Stone recognized Summit as an emerging influence in global electronic dance music.
