JPEGMAFIA, born Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks on October 22, 1989, in Flatbush, Brooklyn, is an American rapper, singer, and record producer. He released his debut studio album, Black Ben Carson, in 2016 independently. His second album, Veteran, was released in 2018 and received widespread critical acclaim. His third album, All My Heroes Are Cornballs, was released in 2019 and entered the Billboard 200 chart. He signed to Republic Records for the release of his fourth album, LP!, in 2021. In 2023, he released a collaborative studio album, Scaring the Hoes, through AWAL. His fifth studio album, I Lay Down My Life for You, was released in 2024.
