About Letlive.
Letlive, stylized letlive., was an American rock band from Los Angeles. The band's final lineup included lead vocalist Jason Aalon Butler, guitarist Jeff Sahyoun, bassist Ryan Jay Johnson, and drummer Loniel Robinson. Butler was the only constant member of the group. They released four full-length albums and one EP, with their final album If I'm the Devil released on June 10, 2016. The band was last signed to Epitaph Records. Their discography began with the EP Exhaustion, Salt Water, and Everything in Between in 2003, followed by their first LP Speak Like You Talk in 2005. Their second album, Fake History, was released in 2010 and re-released on Epitaph in 2011, receiving critical praise and being included in Rock Sound's 101 Modern Classics. Their third album, The Blackest Beautiful, was released on July 9, 2013, and was streamed on Epitaph's YouTube channel on June 17. On April 28, 2017, the band announced via social media that they had disbanded. In 2024, Butler announced plans to revive the band to end it on better terms.
The band's new iteration sees founding members Jason Aalon Butler, Jeff Sahyoun and Jean Nascimento joined by Sage Webber of Point North on drums and Skyler Acord of Issues handling bass duties.
