About Olly Murs
Olly Murs, born Oliver Stanley Murs on 14 May 1984, is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He gained prominence after finishing as a runner-up on the sixth series of the television talent show The X Factor in 2009. Following the show, Murs was signed to RCA Records and Sony Music in the United Kingdom, as well as Columbia Records in the United States. His self-titled debut album was released in 2010, entered the UK Albums Chart at number two, and was certified double platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. The album included the singles 'Please Don't Let Me Go' and 'Thinking of Me'. His second album, In Case You Didn't Know, released in 2011, debuted at number one in the UK and produced two number-one singles: 'Heart Skips a Beat' and 'Dance with Me Tonight'. Murs's third album, Right Place Right Time, came out in 2012, with six singles released from it, including 'Troublemaker', which became his fourth UK number-one hit. In 2014, he released the single 'Wrapped Up' featuring Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes, which reached the top five on the UK Singles Chart.
