About Sia
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, born on 18 December 1975, is an Australian singer and songwriter. She began her music career as a vocalist in the acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s. After Crisp disbanded in 1997, she released her debut studio album, OnlySee, in Australia. She then moved to London, where she provided vocals for the English duo Zero 7. Her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, was released in 2001, followed by Colour the Small One in 2004. In 2005, she relocated to New York City and toured in the United States. Her fourth and fifth studio albums, Some People Have Real Problems and We Are Born, were released in 2008 and 2010, respectively, and both received gold certification from the Australian Recording Industry Association. During this period, her profile increased, leading her to take a hiatus from performing. She then focused on songwriting for other artists, producing collaborations such as "Titanium" with David Guetta, "Diamonds" for Rihanna, "Wild Ones" with Flo Rida, and "Pretty Hurts" for Beyoncé.
