Stray Kids is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment in 2017. The group consists of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. Former member Woojin left the group in 2019. The band is known for self-producing its recordings, with the main production team being 3Racha, composed of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. The members often participate in songwriting. Bang Chan, the group's leader, selected each member prior to the filming of the 2017 reality television show, a process that is uncommon in the K-pop industry. Their unofficial debut extended play (EP) was 'Mixtape' in January 2018. They officially debuted on March 25, 2018, with the EP 'I Am Not,' followed by 'I Am Who' and 'I Am You,' forming the I Am series. In 2019, they released the Clé trilogy, which includes 'Clé 1: Miroh,' 'Clé 2: Yellow Wood,' and 'Clé: Levanter.'
