Voxtrot was an American indie pop band formed in Austin, Texas, in 2003. Their first recordings were released in 2003, and their debut EP, Raised by Wolves, came out in 2005. The EP received critical acclaim and attracted attention from music bloggers and major publications such as Pitchfork and Spin. During the rise of the early online music blogosphere, particularly among MP3 blogs, the band gained popularity and was regarded as a defining act of the blog rock era. Voxtrot released two additional EPs in 2006, Mothers, Sisters, Daughters & Wives, and Your Biggest Fan, before releasing their self-titled debut album in 2007. Following the album, the band continued to perform live and released several singles. In April 2010, they announced their disbandment, performing a short tour of the United States that concluded in New York City on June 26, 2010. On May 6, 2022, the group announced they were embarking on a reunion tour scheduled for later that year.
