About WU LYF
WU LYF (pronounced "woo life") is an English rock band from Manchester. The acronym stands for "World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation." The band formed in 2008 and initially gained attention for maintaining a mysterious image by declining interview requests and releasing limited information to the press. During their first period of activity, they released one studio album, Go Tell Fire to the Mountain. The band disbanded in 2012 but reformed in 2025. Their second album, A Wave That Will Never Break, was scheduled for release in April 2026. The band has described their music as "heavy pop."
Manchester band WU LYF releases their first new song in 12 years, recorded at Low Four Studios with production from Tom McClung.
