About This Track

Alma builds 'Karma' around a simple, devastating premise: a reckoning for someone who has played with her heart. The track moves through the wreckage of a relationship defined by lies, cold nights, and games played in the dark, before settling on a single, repeating threat. The chorus strips away nuance entirely. "I bring the karma, you better run, run, run, yeah" becomes a mantra of consequence, delivered with the kind of certainty that suggests she has already made peace with whatever comes next. The production sits somewhere between pop and dance, all bright surfaces and propulsive rhythm, which gives the lyrical content an interesting edge.
