About This Track
'Intro' by Arca is the opening track on '^^^^^ [Circumflex] (NTS Version)'. Released in 2020, it centres a self-styled “Diva Experimental” persona addressing an audience in a live, chatty register, complete with an apparent welcome to a Twitch broadcast and a setting of mood through prismatic imagery. A moment of silence is invoked, before the vocalist turns to the idea that timing matters, with the lines trailing off at the end of the excerpt.
