Lyrics

Vain

[Verse 1]

Green eyes, white smile

Red lips, infantile

He's been raised in a silver-spooning lifestyle

Buzzcut, ripped jeans

Cigarette, Lord, yes please

It ain't a thing that stands to hide away the fact

But everybody knows he's

[Chorus]

Vain, vain, vain, vain

Vain, vain, vain, vain

[Verse 2]

He's over her head, in spite of her face

If he ever suspected anothers' embrace

Has a taste for the finer things in life

Well, he cut out a heart to tattoo his name

Romantic gesture of erotic display

So they say he's a monster

His name is

[Chorus]

Vain, vain, vain, vain

Vain, vain, vain, vain

Vain, yeah

Vain

[Verse 3]

Well, he cable ties her memories

To fit the mould she believes

So they called him a monster

It's a work of art, a masterpiece

Of narcissistic self-belief

So they call him a monster

His name is

[Chorus]

Vain, vain, vain, vain

Vain, vain, vain, yeah

Vain, vain, vain, ow!

Vain, vain, vain, vain
