Lyrics

Perfect

[Verse 1: Logan Henderson]

Don’t you know I’ve been lookin’ for this

For so long and this for this for so long

And I don’t care if it all falls down

And I’m proved wrong

And I’m proved wrong

[Pre-Chorus: Kendall Schmidt]

You can't polish love

Just a diamond in the rough

What I see is I know is more than enough

[Chorus: James Maslow]

It ain’t gotta be perfect, perfect

But I know that we’re worth it, worth it

Every fault we see will strengthen us if we believe

It ain’t gotta be perfect, perfect

Take a chance you’ll scratch the surface

You will find if you give it time

We can be perfect

[Post-Chorus: James Maslow & Logan Henderson]

Perfect (perfect, pеrfect)

Perfect, yеah

[Verse 2: Carlos PenaVega]

Now we can stop everytime

We hit a bump in the road

Don’t wanna turn home

Cause what we’ve got

There’s a million people searching their souls

For what we already know

[Pre-Chorus: Kendall Schmidt]

A lesson we should learn

All kinds of give and takes

Just lay it on the line this time

And not just run away

[Chorus: James Maslow]

It ain’t gotta be perfect, perfect

But I know that we’re worth it, worth it

Every fault we see will strengthen us if we believe

It ain’t gotta be perfect, perfect

Take a chance you’ll scratch the surface

You will find if you give it time

We can be perfect

[Post-Chorus: James Maslow & Logan Henderson]

(we can be perfect) perfect

(oh, we can be perfect) perfect

[Bridge: Kendall, James & Logan]

It’s imperfect and I know (I know)

We’re just learning as we go (as we go)

Tryna reach back to the start (start)

Every time we pull ourselves apart

Just remember the words I’ve said (I said)

It ain’t gotta be perfect

[Chorus: James, Kendall & Logan]

It ain’t gotta be perfect, perfect

But I know that we’re worth it, worth it (yeah)

Every fault we see (fault we see)

Will strengthen us if we believe

It ain’t gotta be perfect, perfect

Take a chance you’ll scratch the surface

(Scratch the surface, no)

You will find if you give it time

We can be perfect

[Outro: James, Kendall, Logan & Carlos]

It ain’t gotta be perfect, perfect

But I know that we’re worth it, worth it

Every fault we see will strengthen us if we believe

It ain’t gotta be perfect, perfect

Take a chance you’ll scratch the surface (oh no)

You will find if you give it time

We can be perfect (oh)

Perfect (oh yeah)

Perfect
