Lyrics

Automatic

[Intro]

(Yeah-ah)

[Verse 1]

If I reach out for you (Yeah-ah)

Will it pull me towards you? (Yeah-ah)

There's a voice that's callin' (Yeah-ah)

Me into the forest in the night

And I hear you talkin' (Yeah-ah)

And my heart is stallin' (Yeah-ah)

Not gonna restart for you (Yeah-ah)

I've already cut the wire

[Pre-Chorus]

Don't ask me to need you like that

Don't ask me to give what I can't

Don't ask me to love you

Don't ask me to love you

[Chorus]

You know I, I don't cut through the static

Maybe I think too much about it

If I could love you automatic

I would

Oh, you make it sound so simple

Drop my guard and act on impulse

If I could love you automatic

I would love

[Post-Chorus]

Automatic, I would love

Automatic, I would love

Automatic, I would love

Automatic, I would lovе

[Verse 2]

If I numb on my senses (Yeah-ah)

Could I try prеtendin'? (Yeah-ah)

Couldn't be so wreckless (Yeah-ah)

To hide in the corners of my mind

When that cold starts stirring (Yeah-ah)

Couldn't say for certain (Yeah-ah)

That it won't hurt you (Yeah-ah)

I know how to kill the fire

[Chorus]

You know I, I can't cut through the static

Maybe I think too much about it

If I could love you automatic

I would

Oh, you make it sound so simple

Drop my guard and act on impulse

If I could love you automatic

I would love

[Post-Chorus]

Automatic, I would love

Automatic, I would love

Automatic, I would love

Automatic, I would love

[Bridge]

Ah

I, I, I

I would

I, I, I

[Outro]

Automatic, I would love

Automatic, I would love

Automatic, I would love

Automatic, I would love
