Lyrics

Venom

The world has turned and held me here
In a deathgrip

Don't hold me back now
Time is the enemy
You don't wanna be the one that's in front of me
Right now
Let's start the reckoning
We're burning everything you built to the ground

The world has turned and held me here
In a deathgrip

Breathe in the venom in my lungs
Sink into something dangerous
I tried to walk away, I forgot the feeling
Guess I'm bad at giving up
Always something pulling
Pulling me back into myself
Never put faith in someone else
I was waiting for the end, I had a death wish
Now I got my hands around your throat
I got a deathgrip
I got a deathgrip

We were kings of another time (Kings of another time)
Building castles in the sky (Oh)
But the dreams that you might find
They could be out to get you
Did we ever see the mark? Did we miss it?
Are we swinging in the dark in the distance?
I made good on every word I said
Some things are better left undead

The world has turned and held me here
In a deathgrip

Breathe in the venom in my lungs
Sink into something dangerous
I tried to walk away, I forgot the feeling
Guess I'm bad at giving up
Always something pulling
Pulling me back into myself
Never put faith in someone else
I was waiting for the end, I had a death wish
Now I got my hands around your throat
I got a deathgrip

I'm never letting go
I'll never lose control
I got a deathgrip
Yeah
Deathgrip
I'm never letting go
Never lose control
Deathgrip
We're burning everything you built to the ground

Breathe in the venom in my lungs
Sink into something dangerous
I tried to walk away, I forgot the feeling
Guess I'm bad at giving up
Bad at giving up

Pulling me back into myself
Never put faith in someone else
I was waiting for the end, I had a death wish
Now I got my hands around your throat
I got a deathgrip
Breathe in the venom in my lungs
Sink into something dangerous
I was waiting for the end, I had a death wish
Now I got my hands around your throat
I got a deathgrip

Breathe in the venom in my lungs
