BONES and Yung Lean trade verses over a minimal, melancholic beat on 'PixelatedTears', a track built around the image of tears as both emotional release and visual motif. The chorus anchors itself in a single, repeated image: tears falling whilst moving through the night, the blade a constant presence. It's a song that dwells in sadness without announcing it, the production sparse enough to let the vocal textures do the work. The verses move between boastful posturing and genuine vulnerability. BONES opens with the TeamSESH crew and Sad Boys collective as a kind of emotional shorthand, then pivots between claims of magnetism and admissions of crying.
