About This Track

cassö's 'Prada' reworks D-Block Europe's 2021 single 'Ferrari Horses', which featured Raye, into a club-ready remix released in August 2023. The British DJ and producer posted an unofficial version in May 2023 before the formal single followed three months later. The track pairs Raye's vocals with D-Block Europe's verses over a bassline that flares and drops, cassö engineering what he describes as an 'explosion' at the song's centre.

The lyrics catalogue luxury-brand aspiration and high-rolling nights across London and Paris, Selfridges and The Shard namechecked alongside Prada, Fendi and Christian Louboutin. D-Block Europe rap about private flights and purple-painted rooms; Raye counters with a defiant hook about making paper without chasing clout. The song was certified gold by the RIAA in July 2024.
