Lyrics

Special

[Verse 1]

I know you're looking for someone

Something you think will never come

I know the stress of your life, for sure

But I know that you will overcome

Special, you are

Lookin' for love, it's not far

If you could see what I see

Girlfriend you'll know you are special

[Chorus]

Special, you are so special

You're special, special

You are special, special

[Verse 2]

God made you strong and beautiful (strong and beautiful)

With patience you taught me how to trust

Our sisterly bodies what more can go

So I think there's something you should know (you should know)

Special, you are (special)

Priceless to me you are by far

Don't let no one take your light that shines

Remember that you are special

[Chorus]

Special, yes, you are

Oh, can you

Special, you are

Just gotta know, gotta know

Special, you are

[Bridge]

No one will take what you won't let in

Dignity is ours, so just keep it safely

This world will shake you if you let it

So hold on to who you are

You got to know that you are...

Special, yes, you are

You gotta know, you gotta know you are

So special

You are

Special

Special

You are

So special

Don't let 'em tell you otherwise

You gotta know

My sweet girlfriend

You gotta know

In your heart

Who your are

Special

You got it in your heart

Don't give it up...
