GET IT

Yeah, I'm out here tryna get it (tryna get it, ayy)
Each and every day
I don't care 'bout nothin' in my way
Yeah, I'm out here tryna get it (tryna get it, ayy)
Each and every day
I'll make it, no matter what they say

Yeah, I'm out here tryna get it (tryna get it, ayy)
Each and every day
Time for me to set the record straight
Yeah, I'm out here tryna get it (tryna get it, ayy)
Each and every day
I promise you can't keep up with my pace
Yeah, I'm out here tryna get it

Tunnel vision, won't nothin' push me astray
'Till I finish, I'm relentless
Sweat is drippin' down my face
So persistent, you won't prevent this
Know this grit is here to stay
I won't quit this, don't forget this
Those who quit were never great

My reputation will proceed me
When I step into the place
When the competition sees me
They won't have nothin' to say
Then I'll put the fear of God in 'em
When they hear I'm fightin' against 'em
Wish they'd leave and say bye to the victims
When they see I'm here to play

Buy another record book
'Cause they gon' need another page
Fillin' every slot they got
I promise nothing will be blank
Every record, A to Z
You'll see nothin' but my name
And every day the haters see
That I'm the best to play the game

Im tellin' you I won't budge
But they gon' run and step away
I just hit a home-run
But they still stuck on second base
Yeah, you won't get no love
'Cause now you tryna ride this wave
But when I set to sail the sea
You jumped ship, and got left at bay

Yeah, they actin' like the swagger that I got is so unprecedented
I been stayin' at the top a lot and I upset 'em with it
Grab a ladder, still you cannot fathom where I'm represented
Everything you do, I did better, you ain't impressive with it

All those times that they would rest
I was out there, on my toes
Draggin' competition behind me
My drive is in control
Funny when they say I'm fallin' off
I'm still higher than most
Only ones above me
Are loved ones that have turned into ghosts

Switch the flow
Competition quits quick as I throw pictures
I pose pictures they wish fans would flick with their phones
But they skip 'em and don't, 'cause they missed when they showed
Or were stiffened and froze, because they don't even know 'em

I'm my biggest critic, I'll admit it
I got more to do
I won't stop 'till all this guap I got
Turn from green into blue
Yeah, you say that I'm pretentious
Pretendin' to be that dude
But I'll pretend that I'm the best
Until pretendin' isn't true
