About This Track

Damso builds 'Impardonnable' around a broken heart that has calcified into something harder. The track moves between bitter reflection and something close to rage, the refrain insisting that a shattered centre makes feeling itself a performance, that time passes without touching him. He moves through betrayal by old friends, the corruption of ambition, the gap between the life he was promised and the one he lives. The song is in French, and its weight sits in accumulation: detail bleeding into detail, grievance into grievance, until the repeated wish for death becomes less a threat than a kind of exhaustion. What gives the track its shape is restraint. Damso doesn't oversell the anger; he states it plainly, almost conversationally, letting the lyrical catalogue do the work. He moves from the personal to the systemic, from friendship to legacy, from money to the cost of wanting things. The production stays minimal enough that his voice carries the full weight of what he's saying. There is no redemption here, no turn towards forgiveness. The title is literal.

"Impardonnable" is a track by Damso, from the album BĒYĀH, released 30th May 2025. Full lyrics are available below.

[Paroles de "Impardonnable"]

[Intro]

Isma, Isma, Isma, Isma, Isma

Hey, hey, hey

[Couplet 1]
