About This Track

A straightforward come-on wrapped in a sticky pop-funk groove. 'Body Moves' pairs stumbling-home flirtation with a chorus built on repetition and restraint, the hook cycling through the title phrase with the kind of insistence that works best when you're not thinking too hard. Joe Jonas wrote the track with Justin Tranter and producers Rami Yacoub, Albin Nedler, and Kristoffer Fogelmark, keeping things light: the lyrical premise is desire without complication, the production all bounce and no weight. The song moves through its setup with a knowing wink. Curiosity, a dirty mind, stars above to light the way, touch that haunts but in a way you like.
