About This Track
Flor's 'heart' is built on a tension between ambition and integrity. The song traces the strain of growth, of moving parts that shift from the start, of staging bigger scenes without losing what made them matter. There's a restlessness in the verses, a sense of being called forward whilst expected to hold still, of identity slipping away even as the project expands. The chorus anchors everything in a single commitment: "we've got the heart, it's true". It's a refusal dressed as reassurance. Against the pressure to perform, to entertain, to become something other than themselves, flor insists on the thing that cannot be taken, the thing that holds through the noise. The final verse sharpens this into something more defiant, casting off the wolves that tear at the margins, the voices that would pull them off course. The song doesn't resolve so much as it stands firm.
