Lyrics

Backyard Body

[Verse 1]

Lay your heart

Down right at my front porch

I'm that kind of girl who's into gore

I want all of you and I want it now

I got what you want

What you've asked for

Lover for the afterlife

[Pre-Chorus]

My boys are rotting in the yard

Got no time left to waste

The only thing I want was love

And it made me insane

[Chorus]

Don't let it end before it starts

Only death will do us part

Say that you love me

Or you'll be a backyard body

If you come back to say goodbye

Coffin flowers do not die

You either will love me

Or you'll be a backyard body

[Verse 2]

Lay your heart

Down right in my bedroom

Mine is spilled all over the floor

Your brain might look kinda cute

On my walls

It's cloudy

With a good chance of murder

Red rain's washing all over

[Pre-Chorus]

My boys are rotting in the yard

Got no time left to waste

The only thing I want was love

And it made me insane

[Chorus]

Don't let it end before it starts

Only death will do us part

Say that you love me

Or you'll be a backyard body

If you come back to say goodbye

Coffin flowers do not die

You either will love me

Or you'll be a backyard body
