Lyrics

5'4

I don’t want to talk right now

Your voice, don’t let words slip out

And I know you’re occupied right now

Blonde hair, blue jeans, below 5’4, you know

I guess that's your type

I'm

I'm only 4 floors below you

But I'm 5 steps ahead of you

So I'm there by 8 to your smile and wave through the window

A little far though

But it's worth a hello

You're a little slow though

I can't help it anymore

Why can't I be her

I'm below 5’4, nothing to fight for

Oh so

Why can't I be her

I don't really ask for much

Don't have to fight for my love

You only hand over sweaters 'cause you see me cold outside

But I know your mom told you so

Dear heart

There's a boy I know you want mе to like

But that boy, I'm afraid I'm not what he likes

So plеase stop beating so fast when he comes by

I know you cry when he says goodbye

And when he cares you get tongue-tied

I don't know why

I'm

I'm only 4 floors below you

But I'm 5 steps ahead of you

So I'm there by 8 to your smile and wave through the window

A little far though

But it's worth a hello

You're a little slow though

I can't help it anymore

Why can't I be her

I'm below 5’4, nothing to fight for

Oh so

Why can't I be her

I don't really ask for much

Don't have to fight for my love

You only hand over sweaters 'cause you see me cold outside

But I know your mom told you so

Ah

Ah

I'm below 5‘4

I'm 5‘3 and 2/3

Don't need to fight for

Ah

Ah

I'm below 5’4 (I'm below 5'4)

Don't need to fight for (Don't need to fight for)
