Reaching Out

Like some new champion with a handkerchief in hand

I keep the artifacts held tight to me

Though they may change through time

In shades of loving light

On the leafy floor, I still take them out sometimes

Always thinking, “Oh, the things that I would do!”

But Brother, Sister, oh, the frightened one is you

You can give up that feeling that fills your heart
