Lyrics

Devour

"Yeas I can do miracles!"

Solo: Kragen

One chance to do this

One chance to get it right

One chance to show the world

The monsters inside

They'll hear me

They'll see me

Believe me

And eat their precious...

Pride, swallowed like broken glass

Lies fed to a hollow mass

One chance to kill bliss

One chance to darken light

One chance to mold the world

To this monster inside

They'll fear me

They'll hate me

Deceive me

And eat their precious...

Pride, swallowed like broken glass

Lies fed to a hollow mass

Devour

Born to break the unbroken

Devour

Speak the lies unspoken

Devour

Hopes and dreams to unburden

Devour

Hearts and minds of lesser men

"Yes, I can do miracles! No matter

What you think. Yes, I can heal the sick

And cure cancer! You write it down

You can call me an egomaniac or a

Megalomaniac or whatever you wish

With a messianic complex. I don't have

Any complex, honey. I happen to know

I'm the messiah!"

-Reverend Jim Jones

Solo: Lee

Solo: Kragen

Pride, swallowed like broken glass

Lies fed to a hollow mass

Devour

Born to break the unbroken

Devour

Speak the lies unspoken

Devour

Hopes and dreams to unburden

Devour

Hearts and minds

Break their spines

The hearts and minds of lesser men
