The scene shifts into a more private, intimate mood, with a sense of languor in the dark and small, tangible details like the car seat and dust.

Lyrics

Closer

I was alone in a candy store
Walking the aisles looking for more
I was the dancer, I held up the score
Forgot what I was dancing for

And time took me in, took me to you
Now I'm falling, breathing, wanting
Waiting to get closer, closer to you

Swimming in the dark, lazy
Car seat, dust, crazy
Infinity above me, taze me
With your deep sea eyes, baby

Shake me down, light me up, lay me
Shake me down, feel it now, baby
Running 'round, having your way with me
Running 'round, through your town

Lover I'm here
Lover I'm ready to go
Lover I'm letting go
Of things I cannot show

I take and I take, think that I'm not enough
That my love is too rushed, too much
If it's the last thing I do
I'll let it all go for you (So we can go)

Swimming in the dark, lazy
Car seat, dust, crazy
Infinity above me, taze me
With your deep sea eyes, baby

Shake me down, light me up, lay me
Shake me down, feel it now, baby
Running 'round, having your way with me
Running 'round, through your town

How do I
How do I
How do I get closer to you?

Swimming in the dark, lazy
Car seat, dust, crazy
Infinity above me, taze me
With your deep sea eyes, baby

Shake me down, light me up, lay me
Shake me down, feel it now, baby
Running 'round, having your way with me
Running 'round, through your town
