About This Track

'Bounce' is a straightforward proposition: Jacquees wants to take someone home and make them move. The track builds its appeal on repetition and directness, the hook cycling through the same few lines with the kind of persistence that suggests confidence rather than invention. There is little pretence here, and little need for it. The song sits comfortably in the lane of R&B that treats seduction as a transactional matter, all appetite and no ambiguity.
